PMC Lead Piping Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Piping Engineer to join the ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi. The role is based full‑time at the client’s office and includes occasional travel to Spain. You will lead the design, development and implementation of complex piping systems for a high‑profile oil and gas client.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of piping system design, from concept through detailed engineering.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration with mechanical, civil and electrical disciplines.
• Validate that all piping work complies with project specifications, ASME, API and other relevant industry standards.
• Manage technical reviews, issue resolution and documentation for client and regulatory approvals.
• Provide on‑site technical support and guidance to construction and commissioning teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading piping engineering activities on large‑scale oil and gas projects.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and compliance requirements in the upstream/midstream sector.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time and travel internationally as needed.
