PMC Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking a PMC Senior Planning Engineer to join the ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The position will be based at the client’s office with the possibility of offshore rotation, supporting the delivery of complex oil and gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and control integrated project schedules in line with ADNOC standards and contractual milestones.
• Measure progress and produce regular reports across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure schedule alignment and timely issue resolution.
• Support risk analysis and schedule optimisation to meet project delivery targets.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in project controls and planning within large‑scale oil & gas or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of ADNOC or similar client standards and contractual requirements.
• Proven ability to work on‑site in a client environment and adapt to offshore rotation schedules.

Required skills

• Project scheduling and control methodologies.
• Progress measurement and reporting techniques.
• Familiarity with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning processes.
