PMC Senior Project Control Manager

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Senior Project Control Manager to join its Oil, Gas & New Energies business in Abu Dhabi. You will lead project control activities, ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and support continuous improvement across high‑profile energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts and performance reports.
• Monitor project progress against baseline plans and identify corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to align schedules and budgets.
• Implement quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present status updates to senior management and clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project control within large‑scale oil, gas or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and cost control techniques.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
