PowerBI Developer / Data Visualization Specialist

About the role

BlackStone eIT is looking for a PowerBI Developer who will turn raw data into clear, actionable visualisations. You will work closely with business teams to understand their needs and deliver intuitive dashboards that support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build user‑friendly Power BI reports, dashboards and visual elements.
• Clean, shape and model raw data using Power Query and best‑practice data‑modeling techniques.
• Write DAX calculations for advanced aggregations, date logic and table expressions.
• Connect Power BI securely to SQL databases, cloud services and Excel files.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor and optimise report performance, data flows and dashboard responsiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills for non‑technical audiences.
