PR & Social Media Specialist – Dubai

About the role

Canon Middle East is looking for a PR & Social Media Specialist to develop and publish communications for a wide range of audiences and to lead the company’s social media strategy in the UAE market. You will be responsible for creating integrated PR campaigns, managing media relations, and delivering engaging social content that supports business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and measure PR campaigns that align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
• Coordinate with external media and social platforms to ensure smooth execution of exposure activities.
• Manage the local approval process for press releases and related editorial materials, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Liaise with EMEA PR spokespeople and support crisis communication efforts when required.
• Develop best‑practice social media campaigns, content calendars and guidelines that support the marketing strategy.
• Produce and manage social media assets, brief creative and media agencies, and track performance against KPIs.
• Collaborate with the central Social Communications team to ensure governance and consistency across all channels.
