About the role

GEMS Metropole School Al Waha is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join its international community starting in August 2026. You will deliver a 21st‑century curriculum that blends academic rigor with innovative facilities such as a forest, farm, and specialised workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging primary‑level lessons across core subjects.
• Utilise the school’s unique resources (forest, farm, bio‑cube, BTEC workshops) to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Required profile

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Demonstrated ability to share exemplary teaching practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to the school’s values of curiosity, confidence, creativity, respect and kindness.
