Principal HVAC Engineer - Offshore

About the role

Worley is seeking a Principal HVAC Engineer to lead the design and delivery of offshore HVAC systems. This senior position will shape engineering solutions, ensure technical excellence, and support business development for complex projects in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Determine methods and solutions for complex HVAC engineering challenges on offshore projects.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques and analysis, adhering to current industry standards.
• Provide technical consultancy and discipline supervision across multiple projects.
• Support business development by preparing execution strategies, cost estimates, and proposal content.
• Coordinate resource loading, skill requirements, and team coverage for vacations or absences.
• Mentor junior engineers, facilitate training, and contribute to performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
• Standardise equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates, and conduct peer reviews.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in HVAC engineering, preferably in offshore environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and supervise multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Demonstrated involvement in business development and proposal preparation.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
