Principal Piping Designer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Principal Piping Designer to lead the delivery of piping design and SP3D modeling for assigned packages in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure safe, compliant, and constructible layouts that meet project specifications, client standards, and applicable codes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, allocate and supervise daily piping design workload, ensuring alignment with project schedules.
• Lead the development and maintenance of the SP3D model, including pipe routing, equipment support, and tie‑ins.
• Conduct checking and back‑checking of 3D models, isometrics, support plans and MTOs, closing out comments before issue.
• Coordinate clash detection and resolution with civil, structural, mechanical, process and E&I disciplines.
• Participate in internal and client model reviews (30/60/90%) and drive design close‑out actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading piping design teams on large‑scale projects.
• Strong understanding of project drafting/modeling standards and quality expectations.
• Ability to mentor designers, enforce standards and ensure on‑time delivery.
