Principal Project Control Specialist

About the role

Worley is seeking a Principal Project Control Specialist to lead project planning, cost control and schedule management for major energy and resources projects in Abu Dhabi. The role works closely with the Project Control Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor baseline schedules, performance reporting and change control assessments.
• Provide earned value management guidance, risk management and cost‑schedule variance analysis.
• Advise on effective planning techniques, critical path analysis and project controls best practices.
• Develop integrated project schedules that incorporate interface milestones, feedstock availability and contractor activities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, procurement and planning procedures.
• Support the Project Control Manager on contractual and commercial issues.
• Coordinate internal and external project reviews and meetings.
• Generate weekly and monthly progress, forecast and variance reports.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a project control, planning or cost engineer.
• Strong knowledge of earned value management, risk management and schedule optimization.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and multiple contractors.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
