Principal Structural Engineer

About the role

Cundall is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join its award‑winning Dubai office. You will work on high‑profile structural design projects across the UAE and the wider region, contributing to the firm’s zero‑carbon design ambition.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural calculations for steel, reinforced concrete and masonry structures.
• Use advanced modelling software to develop innovative, sustainable design solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including CAD technicians and consultants from other engineering disciplines.
• Support project delivery across sectors such as education, commercial, healthcare, retail and critical systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and work towards Chartered status.

Required profile

• Accredited BEng degree (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering.
• Significant consultancy experience delivering complex structural projects.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proactive, client‑focused mindset with a passion for sustainable design.
