Private Banker – Abu Dhabi Market (Dubai based)

About the role

Barclays is expanding its Private Banking team in the UAE and is looking for a Private Banker to lead the Abu Dhabi market from our Dubai office. You will work with high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients, delivering tailored banking and investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients in Abu Dhabi, understanding their financial goals and risk appetite.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, providing exceptional service, financial advice, and regular portfolio reviews.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on banking products, credit, investment solutions, and complex client queries.
• Identify, onboard, and retain new clients through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
• Develop and execute bespoke strategies to attract and retain wealthy clients in the region.
• Participate in client events, wealth‑management forums, and high‑profile gatherings across the UAE.
• Advise on portfolio management, estate planning, succession, and offshore structuring.
• Keep clients informed on market trends, economic updates, and investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Private Banker with a client base exceeding USD 300 million in the Abu Dhabi market.
• Strong track record of growing assets under management and delivering high‑value advisory services.
• Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.
