Process Engineer

About the role

Air Q Limited seeks an experienced, hands‑on Process Engineer to join its Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) team in Abu Dhabi. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, production planning, tooling and shop‑floor execution, ensuring that production plans match real assembly capabilities while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Align production processes and capacity between planning and assembly, working closely with material and production planners.
• Identify constraints, bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop practical solutions to improve flow, throughput and cycle time.
• Design, specify and manage tooling, jigs, fixtures and equipment, maintaining records, traceability and calibration compliance.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and root‑cause problem‑solving techniques to reduce waste, rework and cycle time.
• Support new product introductions, production ramp‑up and line readiness, ensuring tools and processes are in place before launch.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering and shop‑floor teams to translate product requirements into manufacturable processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in process, manufacturing or tooling engineering.
• Experience in aerospace, UAV, aviation, defense or other complex manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of production processes, assembly operations and manufacturing workflows.
