Process Engineer – Manufacturing Optimization

About the role

We are seeking a Process Engineer to streamline manufacturing operations, drive cost reduction, and ensure quality excellence. The role focuses on developing and enhancing processes and systems that boost departmental performance and promote sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process routing, factory layouts, and workstation designs.
• Implement and optimise manufacturing work methods and machine specifications.
• Coordinate machine installation, hand‑over to production, and supplier evaluation.
• Create and maintain work instructions, tools, fixtures, and process parameters for consistent product quality.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and qualify special processes.
• Implement Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure QHSE compliance.
• Deliver QHSE training, monitor KPIs, and enforce 5S and safety programs.
• Authorize stop‑work orders when safety is compromised and enforce corrective actions.
• Train, coach, and delegate tasks to sub‑ordinates, ensuring fair workload distribution.
• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience as an Industrial or Process Engineer.
• Basic knowledge of electrical/switch‑gear industry.
• Proven ability to lead continuous‑improvement projects and manage QHSE authority.
• Strong analytical skills for cost impact analysis, OEE calculation, and process capability assessment.
