Procurement and Logistics Officer

About the role

The Procurement and Logistics Officer will manage the end‑to‑end supply chain for a fast‑growing biotechnology company in Dubai. You will ensure the seamless flow of materials, negotiate with suppliers, and optimise logistics to support product development and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance, address quality or compliance issues, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
• Utilise procurement software to track orders, manage inventory, and analyse spending patterns.
• Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders and contracts.
