Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to support one of our reputable UAE clients on an outsourced basis. The role involves managing purchase orders, vendor communications, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while collaborating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement requirements with internal departments and suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders and related documentation.
• Obtain and compare quotations, secure approvals, and follow up with vendors on orders and deliveries.
• Track purchase orders to ensure materials/services are delivered within required timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices and other procurement documents.
• Collaborate with technical, finance, operations and other teams for smooth processing.
• Assist with invoice verification and ensure supporting documents are available for payment.
• Maintain supplier/vendor records and procurement trackers.
• Handle day‑to‑day correspondence, follow‑ups and administrative procurement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchase coordination or similar roles, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow‑up abilities.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
