Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to support one of our reputable clients in the UAE on an outsourced basis. The role involves managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth procurement operations across multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement requirements with internal departments and suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Obtain and compare quotations, secure necessary approvals, and follow up with vendors on orders and deliveries.
• Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documents.
• Collaborate with technical, finance, operations, and other teams for seamless processing.
• Assist with invoice verification and ensure supporting documents are available for payment.
• Maintain supplier/vendor records and procurement trackers.
• Handle day‑to‑day correspondence, follow‑ups, and administrative procurement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchase coordination, sales coordination, or operations coordination, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong communication, coordination, and follow‑up abilities.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
