Procurement Executive

About the role

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing and negotiating the purchase of goods and services within assigned categories, ensuring best quality, price, and timely delivery to meet business unit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Fulfill all RFQs from originating departments, provide quotations, prepare comparisons, and run auctions where applicable.
• Ensure quantity and service are supplied fully and on time.
• Support the Category Manager in achieving monthly savings targets.
• Generate contracts for high‑value spend, initiating renewal processes 90 days in advance.
• Introduce new suppliers to reduce SSPJ annually.
• Track YTD spend, perform ABC analysis, and recommend cost‑reduction projects.
• Manage complaints from originating departments through the SCN and resolve them promptly.
• Update the approved supplier list and ratings yearly for HOP review.
• Negotiate payment terms to improve cash flow.
• Source and submit documentation for new supplier registration or changes in Oracle.
• Generate online gate passes for material delivery to JAFZA and coordinate emergency response approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) with procurement professional certifications.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience, including cost analysis, supplier management, and fact‑based negotiation.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with Oracle procurement modules.
