Procurement & Inventory Manager

About the role

The Procurement & Inventory Manager will oversee purchase order creation, order tracking and inventory management for Agroshipping LLC in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures materials are available to meet operational demand, supports month‑end reconciliations and drives continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate policies and procedures for purchasing, storage and inventory management.
• Analyze programs, formulate guidelines and provide policy interpretation for finance and accounting.
• Ensure material availability to meet operational demand and expedite shipments as needed.
• Coordinate daily procurement activities and act as the organization’s representative for the process.
• Assist in creating training material, lesson plans and delivering procurement training.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and present status reports to Operations, Finance and Executive teams.
• Process vendor applications, maintain the accounts database and resolve vendor issues with Accounting.
• Negotiate favorable prices and terms with suppliers and continuously seek cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with management on new product development and support automation/testing of procurement software.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business finance, procurement or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of procurement/purchasing experience in a mid‑sized organization.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
