Procurement Lead

About the role

The Procurement Lead will drive and coordinate all procurement activities for assigned projects, ensuring that goods, services, consultants, and contractors are sourced competitively, on time, and in line with project budgets and organizational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement for project packages, from planning through contract award.
• Develop and maintain procurement plans, schedules, and sourcing strategies aligned with project delivery requirements.
• Manage tendering processes, including pre‑qualification, RFP/RFQ issuance, bid clarification, evaluation, negotiation and award recommendations.
• Collaborate with project, commercial, technical, design, finance and other functions to define clear procurement scopes.
• Identify, evaluate and recommend suitable suppliers, consultants and contractors.
• Conduct commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms.
• Prepare tender documentation, evaluation reports, purchase orders and contract award files.
• Monitor procurement schedules, lead times and supply‑chain risks, implementing mitigation measures.
• Maintain strong relationships with key external partners and monitor their performance.
• Provide guidance to procurement team members and support continuous improvement of processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional procurement qualification such as CIPS or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience leading procurement activities on construction or property‑related projects.
• Strong understanding of tendering, contract award and supplier performance management.
