Procurement Manager – Joinery (Dubai)

About the role

Our client in Dubai is seeking a Procurement Manager specialized in joinery to lead the sourcing and procurement of materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E) and other interior products for luxury commercial and residential fit‑out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source reliable suppliers and vendors for finishes, FF&E and other interior elements.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing and delivery schedules to ensure timely, cost‑effective procurement.
• Oversee material procurement, ensuring compliance with design and quality specifications.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate deliveries to avoid project delays.
• Develop and control procurement budgets, conduct cost comparisons and drive value‑engineering opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct regular evaluations and resolve issues such as delays or quality concerns.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers and other departments to align procurement with project timelines and design requirements.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, monitor compliance and handle disputes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in procurement for interior fit‑out projects, preferably luxury.
• Proven ability to lead a procurement function, manage budgets and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Strong understanding of FF&E, joinery, finishes and interior product specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
