Procurement Manager – Power

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end procurement for power and substation projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role ensures timely acquisition of equipment, materials and services while delivering cost‑effective solutions that meet technical and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Identify, source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery capability and technical fit.
• Manage RFQs, evaluate quotations, conduct commercial comparisons and select suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, warranties and delivery schedules to achieve best value.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Commercial and QA/QC teams to align procurement with project needs.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier performance, manufacturing progress and material availability.
• Ensure procurement of critical long‑lead items and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the procurement team while mitigating risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or Business Administration.
• 12‑15 years of procurement experience in power, electrical, energy, utilities or EPC environments.
• Proven track record in substation, transmission or distribution project procurement.
• Experience leading and developing a procurement team.
