Procurement Manager – UAE National

About the role

Join Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank as a Procurement Manager, dedicated to driving cost‑effective sourcing and ensuring compliance with the bank’s procurement policies. This role is open exclusively to UAE nationals and offers the chance to influence strategic procurement decisions across the finance division.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the supplier selection process, plan and negotiate bid proposals and renewals while adhering to the bank’s procurement framework.
• Analyse risks related to time and cost, ensuring fairness and transparency throughout the bidding process.
• Negotiate critical supply contracts and approve or reject deviations from contract specifications.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aimed at cost reduction, spend control and long‑term savings.
• Monitor internal processes, correct inaccuracies and enforce best‑practice procurement techniques.
• Track and report functional metrics to improve effectiveness and reduce expenses.
• Lead a team in line with ADCB’s people‑management policies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Procurement or a related discipline.
• Chartered Accountant qualification or an equivalent professional credential.
• Strong judgment and the ability to resolve problems under pressure.
