Procurement Manager – UAE National Preferred

About the role

The Procurement Manager will develop and execute procurement strategies that ensure timely, cost‑effective and compliant acquisition of goods and services for LAHAB, EDGE’s military‑grade munitions manufacturer. This role is aimed at UAE nationals who wish to contribute to the nation’s industrial capabilities and sovereign supply‑chain excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement process from sourcing to contract award and supplier performance.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard qualified suppliers and contractors.
• Lead contract negotiations to achieve optimal cost, quality, delivery and risk outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards and applicable regulations.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supply‑risk factors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand demand and technical requirements.
• Control procurement budgets and identify cost‑saving and value‑creation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM or PMP.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, EPC or regulated industries.
• 5–10 years of progressive procurement or supply‑chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and contract management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
