Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing the purchase of goods and services to support our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential vendors and compare offers.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Enter order details into internal databases.
• Maintain updated records of purchases, deliveries and invoices.
• Prepare purchase reports and conduct cost analyses.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for proper storage.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay current with industry trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role.
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.
• Hands‑on experience with purchasing software (e.g., Procurify or SpendMap).
• Understanding of supply‑chain procedures.
• Solid analytical abilities for financial reporting and cost analysis.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
