Procurement Quality Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Quality Specialist ensures that all materials, equipment, and packages procured for ADNOC Offshore projects meet project specifications, ADNOC standards, international codes, and contractual quality requirements. Working within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team, the role provides quality surveillance throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement quality surveillance strategies aligned with project and ADNOC requirements.
• Monitor supplier quality performance, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.
• Review purchase requisitions, specifications, and vendor quality plans to ensure compliance with inspection and testing requirements.
• Coordinate and witness critical manufacturing activities such as material identification, fabrication, welding, heat treatment, NDT, hydrostatic testing, functional testing, and FAT.
• Review and release Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and manage third‑party inspection agency activities.
• Verify supplier compliance with ISO 9001 and project‑specific quality standards, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement quality management for offshore or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards, ISO 9001, and international codes.
• Ability to conduct supplier pre‑qualification, technical capability assessments, and quality audits.
• Strong understanding of inspection, testing, and documentation processes.
