Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist manages the full procurement cycle, from placing orders with local and international suppliers to overseeing supplier account management. This role ensures timely delivery of goods, accurate documentation for financial and tax compliance, and serves as the key liaison between suppliers, the accounts team, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Place and track orders with local and overseas suppliers, coordinate samples and marketing materials, and maintain the Order Tracker.
• Create Purchase Orders and Bills in Zoho, validate Goods‑In notes, and manage credit notes for damages or missing items.
• Review supplier invoices and statements of account, coordinate payment schedules with the Accounts team, and handle credit‑note allocation.
• Validate inventory records, report damages, monitor expiration dates, and track free‑of‑charge items, samples and testers.
• Provide backup support for warehouse, stock movement and procurement tasks during team absences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, logistics or supply‑chain coordination, preferably in FMCG, retail or regulated consumer goods.
• Familiarity with UAE customs, free‑trade agreements and related documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Zoho or a comparable ERP system for PO and invoice processing.
• Strong document validation and reconciliation abilities.
• Excellent communication for liaising with suppliers, warehouse staff and finance teams.
