Product Owner

About the role

The Vault is a crypto‑finance company building an MPC‑based custody and wallet platform for institutional and retail users. We are seeking a Product Owner to define the vision, roadmap, and requirements for this platform, ensuring alignment with security, regulatory, and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product vision, roadmap, and detailed requirements for the MPC‑based custody infrastructure.
• Prioritise the backlog across customer commitments, security audit findings, cryptographic research milestones, and regulatory obligations.
• Translate cryptographic and security constraints into clear, testable product requirements with acceptance criteria.
• Define core platform capabilities such as threshold signing, HSM and Ledger integration, recovery and policy flows, and multi‑chain asset coverage.
• Lead stakeholder discovery, produce high‑quality specifications, and make trade‑offs between new features, platform hardening, and technical debt.
• Act as the primary product interface between cryptography research, engineering, security, compliance, design, and customer‑facing teams.
• Represent the platform externally with partners, auditors, and investors.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager on a technical platform, preferably in digital‑asset custody, fintech infrastructure, security, or cryptography‑adjacent products.
• Working understanding of custody and key‑management concepts, including MPC, threshold signatures, HSMs, hardware wallets, and recovery/policy engines.
• Ability to engage with cross‑functional teams and translate complex technical constraints into actionable product work.
