Production Planner (Assembly, Integration & Testing)

About the role

The Production Planner will support the Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) team at Air Q Limited in Masdar City, ensuring accurate production planning, job order management and coordination across material, assembly and testing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, monitor and close Job Orders (JOs) for assembly and testing.
• Track material and labor consumption against each JO and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain the production schedule, flag potential delays and support schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with Material Planning to align material availability with JO schedules.
• Monitor JO progress, ensure timely closure and end‑to‑end lifecycle tracking.
• Support transition from manual tracking to a digitized planning process.
• Maintain up‑to‑date production planning data and resolve planning issues with relevant teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/MES systems for work order execution, tracking and closure.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing planning processes and production workflow.
