Professor of Educational Leadership

About the role

The Department of Learning and Educational Leadership at United Arab Emirates University is seeking a full‑time Professor in Educational Leadership. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community, contributing to both undergraduate and graduate programmes while advancing research and service initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Educational Leadership.
• Deliver graduate‑level courses for Master’s and Doctoral programmes.
• Advise and mentor Master’s and Doctoral students, supervising theses, dissertations and graduation projects.
• Maintain an active research agenda, publish in peer‑reviewed journals and pursue external funding.
• Develop interdisciplinary collaborations within the College, nationally and internationally.
• Build partnerships with schools and educational organisations.
• Contribute to curriculum development, programme improvement and departmental service.
• Organise professional workshops for university and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership or a closely related field from an accredited, reputable institution.
• Strong record of scholarly publications in peer‑reviewed (preferably Scopus‑indexed Q1/Q2) journals.
• Demonstrated excellence in university‑level teaching.
• Experience advising graduate students and supervising theses/dissertations.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic proficiency and knowledge of UAE education system are a plus.
