About the role

As a Program Manager within EDGE’s Advanced Concepts unit, you will lead the strategic planning, development and execution of high‑technology unmanned aerial system programmes. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will work at the intersection of defence innovation and cutting‑edge aerospace engineering, turning concepts into operational systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement long‑term strategies for UAS programmes, aligning them with organisational goals and market demands.
• Manage complex engineering projects covering design, integration and testing of fixed‑wing drones, loitering munitions and cruise missiles.
• Conduct feasibility studies and allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects.
• Identify, assess and mitigate technical and programme risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams – aerodynamics, mechanical, electronics, control systems and software – to ensure seamless system integration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, reporting and technical road‑maps to drive continuous product improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading aerospace or defence programmes with a focus on unmanned systems.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate market needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent risk‑management and resource‑allocation skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management across multidisciplinary teams.
