Project and Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Project and Automation Engineer to lead site commissioning activities for electrical power systems. You will work on acceptance testing, communication protocol verification, and demonstration of SCADA, DMS and ADMS applications, ensuring seamless integration of equipment into the digital twin platform.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site acceptance tests according to client specifications and prepare detailed site reports.
• Conduct point‑to‑point communication testing using protocols such as Modbus, IEC 61850, DNP and IEC 60870‑50‑104.
• Execute SCADA, DMS and ADMS application testing and provide on‑site demonstrations.
• Monitor team progress and align commissioning activities with the customer schedule.
• Develop, implement, test and troubleshoot communication systems, including IP networking, UDP/TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, gateways and cellular modems.
• Coordinate and execute Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), deliver validation support, and conduct customer training.
• Supervise field installation of new or retrofit equipment and produce instructional documentation.

Required profile

• Strong background in electrical protection and control systems.
• Hands‑on experience with power system commissioning and testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively on site and communicate technical results clearly.
