Project Controls Manager

About the role

Worley, a global leader in energy, chemicals and resources, is seeking a Project Controls Manager for its Abu Dhabi office. The role will lead planning and cost‑control activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the baseline schedule, performance reporting and change‑control assessments.
• Provide earned‑value management guidance, cost and schedule variance analysis, and critical‑path assessments.
• Advise on effective planning techniques and support program integration, governance and schedule optimisation.
• Develop and maintain an integrated project schedule incorporating all interface milestones and contractor activities.
• Monitor contractual compliance, support the Project Control Manager on commercial issues and ensure procurement, planning and scheduling follow company standards.
• Coordinate internal and external project reviews and generate weekly/monthly progress, actuals, forecast and variance reports.

Required profile

• Lead Planning & Cost Control Engineer with proven experience in project control functions.
• Strong analytical capability to manage schedule, cost and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
