Project Coordinator – Interface Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator / Interface Manager to drive the successful delivery of complex building and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires strong multidisciplinary coordination across buildings, roads, utilities, MEP services and BIM, ensuring seamless interaction between all project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate interfaces between building and infrastructure works, including roads, utilities, MEP and related services.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction activities to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Identify, track and resolve technical, contractual and construction interface issues.
• Oversee BIM coordination, detect design clashes and address coordination challenges.
• Liaise with authorities to secure compliance and approvals.
• Monitor programme interfaces, flag potential delays, scope gaps and coordination risks.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, designers, project teams and other stakeholders.
• Support issue resolution to prevent claims, rework or scope gaps.
• Prepare clear reports, presentations and interface documentation.
• Maintain effective document control and communication across all parties.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in project coordination, interface management or a similar role.
• Proven experience on both building and infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Consultancy, PMC or major contractor background is an advantage.
