Project Coordinator – Wet Utilities

About the role

Egis is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join its engineering team in Dubai, focusing on wet utilities infrastructure such as water supply, sewage, and drainage systems. The role involves supporting senior engineers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones for wet utilities projects.
• Liaise between senior engineers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate communication.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical reports, feasibility studies, and design specifications.
• Organise site visits, inspections, and field data collection activities.
• Support the preparation of detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD.
• Maintain accurate project records and databases in line with UAE regulations.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items.
• Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and expenditure.
• Ensure compliance with UAE water regulations, industry standards, and local engineering codes.

Required profile

• Emirati national with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Strong academic foundation in wet utilities systems, hydraulics, and hydrology (for engineering graduates) or knowledge of project management methodologies (for business graduates).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
• Proficient communication in written and spoken English.
• Experience through internships or academic projects in wet utilities coordination (desirable).

Required skills

• AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
