Project Director – Mixed‑Use Development (PMCM)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead mixed‑use development projects in Abu Dhabi, overseeing large‑scale contracts and coordinating multiple systems from conception through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage large‑scale mixed‑use projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule and budget.
• Serve as the principal liaison with clients, maintaining transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop project strategies, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and execute with precision.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of 15+ members, including remote teams and subcontractors.
• Analyze and resolve complex challenges related to risk, financial performance, contract administration and resource allocation.
• Oversee budget control, cost management and financial forecasting to optimise profitability.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless execution and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of project management experience in mixed‑use development or large‑scale construction.
• Proven expertise in PMCM methodologies and high‑value contract delivery.
• Strong background in risk management, financial analysis and contract negotiation.
• Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams of 15+ members.
• Deep knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi regulatory requirements and building codes.
