Project Engineer

About the role

As a Project Engineer you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products, technologies and customer‑specific solutions, while coordinating daily order fulfillment for assigned projects. Additional duties include quotation support, routine engineering analysis, detailed layout/mechanical design and operations support.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for customers, communicating professionally and promptly.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, risks and deliverables, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure project specifications are understood and complied with throughout execution.
• Coordinate contractor site visits, arrange quotes and support shipping documentation when required.
• Track project margin erosion and meet financial milestones on time.

Required profile

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in pump design, development or related industrial projects.
• Experience with engineering documentation, GD&T and mechanical drafting.
• Ability to work independently as a self‑starter and collaborate globally.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• CAD software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor.
• ANSYS (CFD/FEA) knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.
