Project Estimator - Fit-out Focus

About the role

As a Project Estimator focused on interior fit‑out, exhibitions and scenic construction, you will ensure cost accuracy and efficiency from tender to project completion. You will collaborate closely with Project Management, Procurement, Technical Planning and the Estimation team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for interior fit‑out, live events, exhibitions and scenic construction projects.
• Develop concise Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and structured work packages during the tendering phase.
• Analyse and benchmark subcontractor quotations to secure competitive pricing.
• Conduct value‑engineering exercises with the Technical Planning team to optimise costs while preserving design intent.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor variations and change requests.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Procurement and other estimators throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator or Project Controller on interior fit‑out, scenic works, stage builds or AV projects within turnkey production.
• Strong background in cost control, estimation and BoQ preparation.
• Good understanding of market pricing, cost planning and tendering processes.
• Knowledge of German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB) is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
