Project Management Director

About the role

Kempinski Hotels is seeking a Project Management Director to lead both operational and capital projects across its properties in the United Arab Emirates. The role ensures seamless communication between departments, drives structured project execution, and upholds the brand’s aesthetic and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Validate RFPs, define project scope, budgets, and deliverables.
• Prepare detailed monthly status reports for senior management.
• Conduct proactive property inspections and maintain rigorous documentation.
• Oversee project budgets and allocate resources efficiently across multiple priorities.
• Align all projects with division goals and Kempinski’s global standards.

Required profile

• Proven track record managing complex projects, preferably in a global or matrixed environment.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is highly desirable.
• Professional project management certifications such as PMP, PMI, or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
• Experience with marine facilities or waterparks is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly motivated, self‑driven, and accountable.
