Project Manager - Banking & Payments

About the role

Unity Infotech is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead payments and banking product initiatives in Dubai. You will work closely with business, compliance and technology teams to deliver projects on time, within scope and in line with regulatory standards across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of payments and banking product implementations.
• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables aligned with client requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners and technical teams to translate functional needs into actionable plans.
• Manage stakeholder communication across clients, compliance and technology functions.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in Bahrain and international markets.
• Prepare and present status reports, dashboards and executive updates.
• Drive process improvements and best practices in project governance.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of project management experience in banking, fintech or IT services.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems such as cards, SWIFT, ACH, real‑time payments and UPI equivalents.
• Familiarity with GCC regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
• Deep understanding of payment system technologies (cards, SWIFT, ACH, real‑time payments, UPI).
• Ability to work in multicultural environments and with international clients.
