Project Manager – Hybrid (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Octave is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder projects across the Middle East region. The role focuses on delivering enterprise software implementations, system integrations and consulting engagements on time, within scope and budget while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, schedule and budget, aligning with stakeholder objectives and regional governance.
• Execute projects using Octave Smart Services Methodology (SSM) and established delivery standards.
• Define objectives, drive decisions and maintain alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Manage multi‑disciplinary, distributed teams and clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Support change‑management activities to ensure successful adoption.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide regular status, risk and performance reporting.
• Track financials (actuals vs. budget vs. earned value) and manage risk and issue logs with timely escalation.
• Identify process improvements, capture lessons learned and drive efficiency gains.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale IT or software projects in the Middle East.
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to operate in fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication skills across operational, tactical and executive levels.
• Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, IPMA).
• Experience with enterprise software implementation and system integration.
• Financial tracking and earned‑value management.
• Risk and issue management.
