Project Manager

About the role

Konecranes is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of crane and lifting solutions across the UAE and Middle East. You will own the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, from order receipt through design, execution, hand‑over and closure, ensuring projects meet scope, budget and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Book and manage orders in SAP and iLM, release internal orders and continuously monitor progress.
• Coordinate with site teams, design and engineering groups to guarantee timely project completion and hand‑over.
• Develop detailed project schedules, execution plans, budgets and resource plans.
• Prepare, review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Work Method Statements in line with specifications and quality standards.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks affecting schedule, cost, quality or safety.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, communicating approvals, milestones and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on account receivables, advance bank guarantees and performance bank guarantees.
• Utilise SAP and ERP tools for tracking, reporting and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the UAE or Middle East market.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects involving cranes, hoists and lifting equipment.
• Strong understanding of regional contractual, engineering, quality and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and problem‑solving capabilities.
