Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects for Wasael Property Management in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and milestones.
• Coordinate activities across design, technical, commercial, procurement, construction, HSE and other functions.
• Manage consultants, contractors and subcontractors to achieve timely delivery.
• Monitor progress against schedule, budget and performance indicators, reporting status regularly.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and changes, handling scope and change control processes.
• Control project costs, forecasts and variations in partnership with the Commercial team.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, HSE and quality requirements.
• Lead project meetings, coordinate approvals and permits, and oversee testing, commissioning and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
• 8–10 years of project management experience, preferably in real‑estate development, construction or large‑scale infrastructure.
• Proven track record of managing projects through all lifecycle stages.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with external service providers.
