Project Manager - Landscaping & Swimming Pools

About the role

Verdant Landscapes, a British-owned landscaping and swimming pool construction company based in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee several landscaping and pool construction projects across the city. The role covers everything from mobilisation to completion and handover, keeping works safe, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality. It is a full-time position requiring strong leadership and coordination of clients, consultants, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple landscaping and swimming pool construction projects at once.
• Plan, organise and oversee all project activities from start to handover.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, procurement schedules and resource allocation.
• Lead site engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors and labour teams.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, contracts and company standards.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for management and clients.
• Hold site meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Manage costs, variations, claims and subcontractor payments.
• Coordinate procurement and material deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Resolve technical, operational and commercial issues and manage handovers, snagging and close-out.
• Maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of UAE project management experience in landscaping, swimming pool construction, civil works or related sectors.
• Proven experience managing luxury residential landscaping and swimming pool projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, procurement and project controls.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, developer, consultant and authority requirements.
• UAE driving licence required; ability to work under pressure and manage several projects at once.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and project management software.
• Experience managing project budgets, programmes and resource planning.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
