Project Manager – Marine & Salvage Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Emergency Towage Coordinator to lead shore‑side coordination of active salvage and emergency towage projects in Dubai. The role involves managing logistical, commercial and communication aspects for time‑critical maritime operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel and tug mobilisation, scheduling, agents, logistics and operational requirements.
• Liaise with salvage masters, tug operators, vessel owners, agents, clients, insurers and subcontractors.
• Arrange emergency towage and monitor operational readiness.
• Lead daily coordination calls, aligning priorities and next steps for all parties.
• Monitor subcontractor mobilisation, performance, costs and project requirements.
• Maintain operational updates, situation reports, case logs and supporting documentation.
• Support cost tracking, invoicing, contractual variations and project close‑out.
• Identify and escalate operational or logistical issues early to management.

Required profile

• Strong experience in fleet, marine, vessel or offshore operations.
• Proven ability to coordinate vessels, tugs, ports, agents and marine contractors.
• Understanding of vessel mobilisation and time‑critical marine operations.
• Experience in salvage, emergency response or casualty management is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of LOF, SCOPIC, WRECKHIRE, TOWHIRE, TOWCON or similar marine contracts.
• Excellent coordination, communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and be available outside normal hours during active cases.
