Project Manager – Overhead Lines (OHL)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high‑voltage overhead line (OHL) projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between technical design and on‑site execution, ensuring that transmission and distribution infrastructure meets the highest regional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify OHL designs, including profile drawings, sag‑tension calculations, and foundation designs for towers and poles.
• Oversee installation, stringing, and commissioning of overhead lines up to 400 kV.
• Ensure all works comply with GCC utility standards (DEWA, SEC, ADDC, Kahramaa) and local safety regulations.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams to meet technical specifications and project timelines.
• Approve technical submittals and conduct inspections of conductors, insulators, and hardware.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of electrical experience, specifically in 400 kV overhead line maintenance and construction.
• Proven expertise in high‑voltage OHL projects within the UAE region.
• Ability to coordinate design, procurement, and execution phases effectively.
