Proposal Coordinator / Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Proposal Coordinator/Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will work closely with the Proposal Center Manager and Business Line Managers to drive the end‑to‑end proposal process for complex tenders.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate RFPs and decide on submission, presenting findings to the technical team.
• Coordinate and prepare expressions of interest, pre‑qualifications and full proposals.
• Develop non‑technical content, draft letters and emails, and ensure quality, formatting and timely delivery of bid documents.
• Raise and manage pre‑tender queries, liaising with clients for clarification.
• Consolidate project cost estimates from estimation engineers, finalising direct and indirect costs.
• Perform data mining of past successful projects to support marketing and business development.
• Provide general administrative support throughout the tendering phase.

Required profile

• Graduate Engineer or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal coordination or complex tender management.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong editing skills.
• Highly organised, able to set priorities, meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
• Proactive team player with strong interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
