Public Relations Officer – Emiratisation (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Public Relations Officer (Emiratisation) will join Chalhoub Group’s Administration team in Abu Dhabi. This position supports government relations activities that keep the company’s 300+ retail locations compliant and operational across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day government relations tasks, including trade licence applications, renewals, amendments and related regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with government authorities, internal stakeholders and legal teams to obtain approvals for new store openings, promotional campaigns and other business initiatives.
• Maintain ongoing compliance with licences, permits and regulatory requirements to ensure uninterrupted business continuity.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of documentation for regulatory approvals and licensing renewals.
• Monitor changes in local regulations and advise relevant departments on required actions.

Required profile

• Emirati national with a strong interest in government relations and public affairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with authorities and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
