Public Relations Specialist – Dubai

About the role

The Public Relations Specialist will lead PR strategy for Gensler’s Middle East offices, shaping the brand’s narrative across design, real estate and innovation sectors. Working closely with regional leadership, you will turn compelling stories into proactive campaigns and secure media coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategy and campaigns for Gensler Middle East in partnership with office and regional leadership.
• Secure proactive media coverage and manage inbound press inquiries, building relationships with local and national outlets.
• Create thought‑leadership content such as speaking materials, brand publications, website copy and award submissions, and guide distribution.
• Develop executive communications and positioning for office and practice‑area leaders.
• Act as a strategic communications partner to clients, ensuring content aligns with their goals and Gensler’s objectives.
• Advise on PR risk, monitor news cycles, and represent the Middle East in the firm‑wide PR community.
• Liaise with the global PR network to develop messaging, digital and social media strategy, and regional initiatives.
• Track PR and engagement metrics to inform future strategy.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in public relations.
• Background in architecture, design or commercial real estate preferred; agency or journalism experience a plus.
• Established editorial relationships in design, business and innovation media across the Middle East and beyond.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, editing and storytelling skills.
• Proven ability to manage PR projects independently and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
