Purchasing Coordinator – DoubleTree By Hilton

About the role

As a Purchasing Coordinator at DoubleTree By Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, you will support the Purchasing Supervisor in delivering the high‑quality hospitality experience Hilton is known for. You will ensure the department runs smoothly by sourcing products at competitive prices while maintaining strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requests, conduct market research and price comparisons to secure value and quality.
• Liaise with other departments to understand and fulfil their purchasing needs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing reports and related documentation.
• Coordinate stock requirements with relevant teams to avoid over‑stocking or shortages.
• Respond promptly and courteously to purchasing enquiries.
• Assist the Purchasing Supervisor in day‑to‑day operations of the department.
• Support procurement of goods at competitive prices without compromising quality.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with purchasing/inventory management systems.
• Good understanding of purchasing procedures, supplier coordination, market research and inventory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, able to interact effectively at all levels.
