Purchasing Manager – Dubai Airport Freezone

About the role

Sunscent Trading FZCO is opening a new office in the Dubai Airport Freezone and seeks a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement activities. The role is based in Dubai for six months and includes up to five months of travel to African branches, requiring flexibility and strong coordination skills.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective suppliers.
• Liaise with internal project teams and maintain strong supplier relations.
• Evaluate products and suppliers against business criteria.
• Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms.
• Issue purchase orders and agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
• Inspect and evaluate purchased items for quality.
• Analyze industry trends and support sourcing strategies.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing strategies and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, organized team player.
